Log #0001 - Day 1

I seem to have stumbled upon undiscovered land.
My last known coordinates were 52.268508, 0.505172 on the border of Suffolk and Cambridgeshire roughly 13 miles east of the University of Cambridge Walkerian Botanic Garden. The last place visited was Newmarket. I cannot currently track my location, my compass has been thrown off and is spinning around a magnetic field that seemingly does not exist...
The atmosphere seems heavy
As far as I can tell these are not carbon based life forms, this is not biologically possible. I have taken several samples and plan to continue to investigate the cell structures and properties of these organisms.

Log #0002, Organism # 0001 - Day 2

Organism 0001 - Sept, 7, 1875

I seem to have discovered a native species of this land, at first glance it seemed to be some unknown beast and in my initial notes I had mistakenly categorized it as fauna. Upon closer inspection of this strange organism however, I have discovered that it is not, by scientific standards at least, classifyable as an animal. The creature seems to have one functioning eye, along with two light/depth perceptors, when covered the creature seems to be disoriented but still fully visually capable. My current theory is that they help the creature to perceive its surroundings in a highly advanced way, processing spatial information at a highly efficient rate. I am yet to discover any kind of mouth or nose or any similarly functioning organs. As of this moment I have been lost for almost an entire day and have yet to receive correspondence from anyone which leads me to believe that my logs are not being received. IF YOU FIND THIS MESSAGE, PLEASE SEND HELP, I am running out of supplies and will not be able to sustain myself for much longer -B. Dawna
